Orlando Pirates played to a goalless draw against Esperance, the winners of Africa's 2011 Champions League and the runners-up in 2010 and 2012, in the first leg of the Caf Champions League semi-finals at Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Saturday.

New Orlando Stadium complete

The R280-million revamp of Johannesburg's multi-functional, 40 000-seat Orlando Stadium is complete. Apart from being a training venue for the 2010 Fifa World Cup, the stadium will host Premier Soccer League matches, rugby matches, conferences, community gatherings and music concerts.
