On Saturday evening he played football; on Sunday evening he was shot dead. Bafana Bafana captain and goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was killed during a robbery, leaving sports fans reeling and the South African soccer fraternity stricken with grief. He was top of his game, leading Bafana out of the doldrums.
