SA ‘in communication’ with Nigeria over abducted girls
The South African government is in constant communication with the Nigerian government as calls for the release of the girls abducted by militant Islamic group Boko-Haram continue to spread, International Relations Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane said on Thursday.
SA sends condolences to Nigeria, condemns terrorism
South Africa has sent condolences to the government and people of Nigeria, and reiterated its condemnation "of all forms and manner of terrorism", following a bomb attack at a bus station on the outskirts of Abuja on Monday which reportedly claimed over 70 lives.
