South Africa’s Gift of the Givers turns 23
For the past 23 years, Gift of the Givers has helped people in need in 41 countries around the world through its humanitarian and disaster relief work. Its workers and volunteers are seen as brand ambassadors for South Africa, providing skills where they are needed most.
South Africans help flood-stricken nations
The humanitarian group Gift of the Givers is distributing relief parcels to families
displaced by the floods in Malawi, said to be the worst in the nation's history. And the
South African National Defence Force is helping rescue efforts in Mozambique, which
has also been hit by flooding.
