Government statement on funeral and memorial service for Collins Chabane
The official funeral of Minister of Public Service and Administration Collins Chabane, who died tragically in a car accident last weekend, will be held on Saturday 21 March at 9am in Limpopo. A memorial service will be held this Thursday in Pretoria.

The late Minister for Public Service and Administration, Mr Collins Chabane, who tragically passed on in a road collision on the N1 highway near Polokwane, in Limpopo on Sunday, 15 March 2015, will be laid to rest on Saturday, 21 March 2015, at Xikundzu village in Malamulele, Limpopo Province.
Special funeral planned for Chabane
As a sitting national minister, Collins Chabane, the public service and administration minister, will receive a special official funeral. Chabane was "devoted to his work of improving the lives of the people of South Africa", according to Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe.
