South Africa will host its fourth South Africa Investment Conference (SAIC) on 24 March 2022 at the Sandon Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The conference is part of our investment drive to attract R1.2 trillion over five years.
The SAIC takes place as the country emerges from the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Increasing vaccination population and adherence to the COVID-19 protocols has led to a relaxation of lockdown restrictions and a further opening of social and economic activities.

Project: Global South Africans Cocktail Dinner

Brand South Africa plans to host a Global South Africans Cocktail dinner on 27 March 2022 to coincide with the South African national day at Expo 2020 in Dubai.
This event will ensure that South Africans based in the UAE are encouraged to keep on flying the South African flag post Expo 2020, and to also ensure that those who did not get to visit the South African pavilion or get to engage/view what South Africa was exhibiting at the Expo and are familiarised with what took place throughout the 6 months.
Global South Africans (GSA) is a project led by Brand South Africa to enlist the talents, experience and credibility of South Africans living abroad, be it permanently or temporarily, to help realise the vision Madiba had for our Rainbow Nation back in 1994.
