This Photography competition (the ‘Competition’) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (‘Conditions’) and by entering the Competition you agree to be bound by them.
1- The competition is being run by The National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NPO-923) (Hereafter referred to as ‘The NCPD/Casual Day) whose registered office is at 82 Andries Pretorius Road, Edenvale.
2- The prizes are sponsored by Brand South Africa, the official marketing agency of South Africa.
3- The competition is open to all residents of South Africa. Multiple entries are allowed.
4- A Casual Day sticker donation and visibility in the photograph allows entry to this competition.
5- Closing date for entry will be 30 September 2022. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received or seen online for whatever reason.
6- Route to entry for the competition: Enter are via Email, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn posts by tagging any of the Casual Day Social media pages or using the hashtags #CasualDay, #CasualDay2022, #ICelebrateSA, #PlayYourPart. All photos must be posted within the year 2022.
7- NCPD/Casual Day Africa does not make any representations or give any warranty, whether expressly or implicitly, that an entry or participation in the competition will necessarily result in an entrant winning a prize.
8-NCPD/Casual Day is not responsible for any damage to an entrants, or any other person’s computer, mobile telephone or other device used to enter into the competition.
Rules of the competition
9- All entrants who are under 18 years warrant that they have obtained consent from their parents or guardians to enter into and participate in the Competition. The NCPD reserves the right to request proof of parental or guardian consent.
10- The NCPD/Casual Day reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any entrant if it believes that an entrant has breached any of the Conditions, any applicable law (including without limitation copyright law) or has infringed the intellectual property of any other person. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that any failure to comply with the Conditions may lead to The NCPD disqualifying that person, without The NCPD being required to give any reason for such disqualification or granting any opportunity for challenge.
11- Employees of the NCPD/Casual Day and Brand South Africa, their relatives or any agents or employees are not eligible to enter the Competition.
12 – The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
13 – The prize is a #ICelebrateSA Hamper and framed Certificate of Recognition. The prize is not exchangeable for cash and is not transferable.
14- Winners will be chosen by an independent adjudicator or panel of judges appointed by the promoter.
15 – The winner will be notified by email and/or direct messaging on Twitter / Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn within 28 days of the closing date. The winner will only ever be contacted by the NCPD/Casual Day. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
16- The promoter will notify the winner of when the prize will be delivered. It will be delivered via courier to the address selected by the winner.
17- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into .
18- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
19- By submitting an entry, all entrants and winners consent to the use of their personal information including their name/ social media handle and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry for purposes of the Competition. NCPD/Casual Day warrants to protect all personal information by the entrants in keeping with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Act 4 of 2013. Any personal information relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely for the purpose of the Competition and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
20- Winners will be announced via our website and social media channels. Alternatively, the winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: gabriel@casday.co.za.
21- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
22- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to The NCPD and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://casualday.co.za/privacy-policy/
Additional
- The NCPD/Casual Day shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
- The NCPD/Casual Day reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
