    The ministry was ordained in 2011 by Pastor TL Toka at House of Praise Church. Your Burden is my Burden Ministries is a ministry of women of God who are prepared and dedicated to carry others’ burdens. Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burden, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

    VISION STATEMENT: Our vision is to see other people helping others with their burdens. Hence your burden is my burden. Taking care of the needy and providing skills to other people for self-reliance. Our goal is to bring food to the table of all the needy people we come across and to cloth them if necessary

    MISSION STATEMENT: Our mission statement is to carry each other’s burdens. There are needy people who need to be helped with basic needs. Shelters that can be in one center may lead the organization in this critical process and the organization is servicing these needy people in their homes.

    WHAT DOES THE COMPANY DO: Take care of children during the day as day care – hence Your Child is my Child Day Care Take care of elders as in old age home – hence Elders Paradise Take care of orphans as in orphanage – hence Sweet Home for Children Providing skills to the community for self-reliance Encourage and motivate people Pray for and with people Counsel people in broken marriages Counsel the broken hearts in the Name of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 61:1….) Teach deliverance lessons Teach wives to be submissive (Ephesians 5:22) Teach children to obey parents in the Lord (Ephesians 6:1-3)

    We feed the needy with food parcels We cloth the needy people with & where necessary ACTIVITIES OF THE MINISTRY PROJECTS COVERED BY THE MINISTRY 2011 In April 2011 the ministry donated food parcels to Families at Mabopane High School.

    The families who received food parcels were elected by Mrs Moagi as one of the teachers at school.

    The food parcels contained:
    1. 10kg Super Maize Meal
    2. 1kg Brown sugar
    3. 500g salt
    4. 750ml cooking oil
    5. 1kg Trinco Tea Bags
    6. 1 Bar of Sunllight
    7. 1 Toilet paper

    In October 2011 the ministry donated school uniforms to approximately learners with the direction of teachers.

    The uniform consisted of:
    1. Shirt
    2. Trouser
    3. Skirt
    4. A pair of shoes.

    In November 2011 the ministry donated food parcels to Families from different churches, 10 food parcels to Fountain of Praise and Worship in Itsoseng under the leadership of Pastor Solly Mogoane.

    On 30 September 2012 the ministry donated food parcels and clothes to families in Walman under the leadership of Pastor Banda.
