Bongekile Radebe is a self-driven young woman from Mohlakeng, Randfontein who is currently completing her final year in B.Com in Finance at the University of Johannesburg.

She gained her leadership skills through involvement in nation-building initiatives such as youth development programmes – including One Day Leader – and social entrepreneurship.

Radebe has been recognised as a future promising leader by Destiny Magazine.

Her passion for women empowerment and leadership drove her to found the social enterprise Her Destiny. A partnership with beverage brand Toni Glass, it provides a platform for empowering conversations related to connecting generations, personal development and understanding financial literacy.

Her Destiny is a platform to help young women participate in the economic acceleration of South Africa.

For every Toni Glass ice tea bottle sold at Her Destiny engagements, R1 is invested in Radebe’s Young Women’s Education Fund, which helps ease the cost of living for young women studying at university.

Radebe’s dedication to the empowerment of women makes her a proud South African playing her part to build the nation.
