The Dreamfields Project, established in 2007 by radio personality John Perlman, joined forces with the Gauteng Department of Sports and Recreation to stage a one-day football competition in Kgolagano Primary School in Daveyton, east of Johannesburg. After receiving full kit, aspiring stars from eight primary schools in the area took to the field of play to show off their skills.
