Brand SA’s Sowetan Dialogues set for Durban

The Brand SA Sowetan Dialogues aim to provide a platform for communities to engage with key opinion leaders on key issues, outlined in the National Development Plan (NDP), that affect South Africa. The over-arching message of the dialogues is to encourage community members to Play Their Part in driving the social, developmental and economic change of their communities through active citizenship.

Panelists include Mzwakhe Ndlela, a former MK Soldier and author of “For the Fallen: Honouring the Unsung Heroes and Heroines of the Liberation Struggle”; Stanley Rwandarugali, a former MK soldier and programme  manager of the Rwandan Genocide Dialogues in Durban; and Musa Mdluli, chairman of Khuphuka Investment Holdings and a PhD student  at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

The facilitator for the dialogues is Alex Mthiyane from Gagasi FM, while Play Your Part ambassador Brian Mpono, director of biofuels company Khwezi Oils, will also be present.

Entrance is free.
