I am Fezile Vuyisile Mtati. I am a part of the Spirit of Youth organisation, which is run by the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
We are starting a project that we see to empower impoverished communities mentally. The project we have been tasked with is to find a social ailment and make an effort to Bridge a Divide.
We have chosen to attack the dependent mentality of South Africans. We want to Bridge the Gap between Dependence and Independence through service delivery.
We have selected Katlehong as a target for our project. Our aim is to show people that it is possible to better their own standard of living. We plan to show people that “There is power in the Masses”, and as such they can improve their lives as a community.
We desire to start an exponential effect through leading by example, to get people to start their own community initiatives to ensure that their community can flourish.
