
Johannesburg, Thursday 12 November 2015 – Brand South Africa, in collaboration with the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) and other partners, will profile various areas of South Africa’s competitiveness to both Chinese and African media ahead of the Forum for China-Africa Cooperation. FOCAC will be hosted by South Africa from 3-5 December 2015.
As part of the build up to FOCAC 2015, Brand South Africa, DIRCO and other partners have selected three days to profile and position South Africa’s competitiveness in the areas of science, technology and archeology; business and investment; as well as arts, culture and heritage.
Media are invited to participate in any of the programmes listed hereunder. Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
All logistical arrangements will be taken care of by the hosts including Brand South Africa and DIRCO. A more detailed programme will be made available closer to the time.
