Johannesburg, 15 August 2013 – Brand South Africa today joined the nation in calling on South Africa’s national soccer and rugby teams to fly the nation’s flag high and proudly at the Nelson Mandela Sport and Culture Day on Saturday 17 August at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
Brand South Africa CEO Miller Matola said, “We have noted that preparations for the Nelson Mandela Sport and Culture Day are already at an advanced stage with the arrival of the rival teams in South Africa. We know when teams meet on the sports field to defend their nation’s honour, their people follow suit.
